The CASS Europe Master’s in Healthcare Management Program

Master’s in Healthcare Management Graduation Requirements

The duration for completing the Master’s in Healthcare Management program on a full-time basis is one (1) year of studies and research. For part-time enrollment the duration is two (2) years of studies and research. A student must obtain a total of 60 ECTS credits to be allowed to graduate. One (1) ECTS credit is equivalent to 27 class contact hours. Class contact hours include formal lectures, exercises, case preparation and presentation, and other forms of group work in class. One (1) hour of lectures requires three (3) hours of preparatory work by the student ahead of the scheduled lectures.

In order to be allowed to graduate a full-time student must have been enrolled in the Master’s in Healthcare Management Program for one year (two years for part-time students), successfully completed the course component of the program, submitted and orally defended the Master’s in Healthcare Management thesis. Detailed information related to the Master’s graduation requirements is provided in the CASS Europe Academic Policies and Regulations Handbook. Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the policies and regulations handbook be read in conjunction with the Graduate Student Handbook.
